L'OREAL MAKE UP GENIUS APP

some time ago we were invited to l’oreal event. this one was quite interesting, because here they showed not a new cosmetics line or something like that but an app. this app - makeup genius - is a real innovation and really fun and interesting app to use. here you can see how make up looks on your face, you can try loads of different products in a minute. if you’re looking for something and don’t have time for trying all the lipstick colours or all the mascaras, this app is for you. or maybe you just want to have some fun with your face, haha. for me, it’s like a game. you put some make up on your face and move, make expressions and that make up stays in the places of the face where it supposed to be. it’s a technology that scans the main points of the face and adapts to facial expressions. i’ve tried this app for the first time at the event and had lots of laugh! you should try it too! it works even on boys and it’s even more fun, hahaha, but my guys didn’t want me to show their make ups here, sorry :( but i can tell that they look like drag queens or cute girls, haha!have a look what i have done with my face:

and of course, we got some gifts from l’oreal’s new line. quality cosmetics and great colours - what can be better? this lipstick is definitely my new love.

MAYBELLINE COSMETICS

hello , my dear readers! how are your spring days? i just love this warm sun and the smell of spring! 

i got some MAYBELLINE products recently: two for eyebrows and an eye liner. so today i'm doing a short review of these three products!

just to have something to compare with, here're my bare eyebrows.

first one - maybelline master shape brow pencil. i got it in deep brown 260 shade. it fits my brow colour perfectly. i can say that i'm that brow pencil lover, i use eyebrow shadows rarely, so it was a really good choice from maybelline. this pencil had that wax effect - i don't know how to call it - but as you apply the pencil, eyebrows stand right in the place they should stand and feels like they have been sprayed with a hair spray, haha. also, it has a brow brush and it's really good, because it has visible effect once you brush the brows. after applying this pencil and brushing them, the brows look really neat and nice!

the second - brow drama eyebrow mascara. my shade was dark brown. this brow mascara is very good when you don't have much time to make your brows look good. it brushes and adds colour to your eyebrows at once, it's so convenient. for me, actually, it's a bit not enough colour, but it's just because i like to make my brows dark. but if you are not that huge dark brow person, you may really like this one! also, after i put this on, my brow hair became stiff (it's kind of that stiffness like after applying mascara on the eyelashes) and looked surely good.

and then i put on both of the brow products - this made my eyebrows absolutely perfect! yes, i love them like this. nice!

and the last one product was a master graphic eye liner. the first thing i need to tell you - i made the best winged eyeliner in my entire life with this one! i guess that it was my first time trying something like this one - marker type eye liner. but i had to spend some time until i made this line really dark black, because at first the liner isn't dark enough and i had to put on some layers. but at last i was really excited about my cat eyes! but there is another not so exciting thing - it smudges very easily and you have to keep on looking in the mirror if you don't want to look like captain jack sparrow.

maybelline cosmetics

a few days ago i got this wonderful package from maybelline! i was very excited when i got email from maybelline saying that i'll get a mascara and baby lips lip balms. i had one lipstick before and i fell in love with it from the first touch. and i really needed a new mascara so the this gift came right on time and i feel lucky about this!

maybelline lash sensational mascara

 i like mascaras that lengthen and thicken lashes. this makes my lashes look long and nice. even if the brush is a bit small but it's comfortable. i had also a maybelline mascara before which had a large brush and, i guess, i got used to that. this one is different but i think i'll get used to this soon!

baby lips hydrate

this was my first baby lips lip balm which i fell in love with. i really like the shiny and watery effect it makes on my lips. it's really soft and it stays on the lips for a long time. some lip balms or lipsticks make me thirsty, so i always search for a lip balm that doesn't drain my throat. this one slightly does that but i'm ok with that. i love it anyway.

what i like about this one - it has a hint of colour, so it kind of looks like a faded lipstick. of course, it's smooth and lovely!

 baby lips peach kiss

 this one has a little hint of colour, not as much as previous one. but i like how this one smells. it has that peachy scent. i think that everyone of these lip balms will make your lips look delicious (just heard that delicious lips from the song, haha! but it's so true!) and as cute as baby has.

panelė, cosmetics and photoshoot

i like winning competitions. and participating, of course. maybe you like it too? this one is for lithuanian girls only, but it's a great opportunity to show your style and clothes. if you like to dress well - go here.

long story short - two girls from different towns and i won the first month photo shoot and i was so excited when i received a call from this magazine! so i was to panelė this thursday and had an amazing photo shoot with my hair and make up done. everybody there was soooo friendly and nice, driving home i couldn't stop smiling because that was a really surprisingly wonderful day. another thing - i met a lovely blogger in a photo shoot, check this pretty girl out! 

and yes, it's pretty cool to be a part of our lithuanian fashion world. so don't forget to buy a december issue of panelė!

and we got some gifts too - make up items from mary kay's line 'at play'! i've heard about mary kay cosmetics and their great quality earlier and now i have an opportunity to try these. as long as i'm not so good at writing reviews about make up products because i don't really use much make up, i'll try to manage something :)

1. baked eye trio 'ocean view' has nicely matching blue coloring. actually, i like that shiny silver colour the  most, it fits everything. and the shades stay on eyelids for a long time - that's a huge plus.

2. eye crayon 'in the navy' - this was my mom's favourite item. she loves this colour so i gave it to her as i don't use crayons. but sadly, the colour wasn't so intense on eyelids and didn't stay for a long time. but still, it's a gorgeous shade and my mom's happy with this!

3. lip crayon 'toasted' goes pretty nice with a lip gloss. i like using crayons as lipsticks and this one covers really easily and smoothly, doesn't dry lips and, what is more, smells so good!

4. jelly lip gloss 'hot tamale' - this is what i liked a lot! firstly, i like my lips glowing and this gloss makes them shine bright and look plummy! another plus - the colour is pretty natural so i can wear this everywhere.
