diy: christmas candles

last days till christmas! let's do some diy projects. i got inspiration from andrea and her ideas for a room decor and i made two glittering christmas candles. it's perfect for gifts or just to lit on the table on christmas eve. so let's start:

you will need:

candles, glitter, brush, scissors, tape, pencil, glue and paper.

 1. cut a shape you need from paper: i chose a heart. 

2 and 3. stick the paper to the candle with a tape.

4. put glue on the candle. i suggest to put glue not on the whole area at once, just go through it inch by inch and cover the surface with glitter.

 4. cover the shape on the candle with glitter. you can put a lot of glitter at once but then shake the candle to get rid of the excess of the sparkles (they will fall anyway but shaking makes things a lot easier).

5. leave it to dry for some time. and start another project.

 1. apply a tape one the candle.

2. add glitter as in the previous candle project and then take the tape off.

 3. cut a christmas tree shape from paper.

4. stick the paper to the candle, put some glue and add green glitter.

5. when everything is dry, you can correct mistakes using a cotton bud. after all, spray the candles with hair spray, this will prevent glitter from falling.

and this is how the done project looks! i love how it sparkles and i will be pity to lit them up!

diy bracelets

today i've got two diys for you! and they're bracelets. i wanted so bad to do something diy during my holiday, so i did and i'm really happy with the results. let's go straight to the diys!

first one: diy braided hex nut bracelet
the inspiration came from here and i wanted to make this bracelet so much! unfortunately, i didn't find gold hex nuts, so i had to use silvers. but i'm about to buy gold paint and i'm going to make those nuts gold! ok, but for now they're silver:

 you will need: some hex nuts (i found them in a local craft store) and a golden band.

   start braiding your band (i put it where it's more comfortable to braid, as you can see)

begin to braid in your nuts. thread on a nut, push it against the base of the braid, and crossover. hold it in its place tightly with your thumb and thread on another nut, push it against the base of the braid and crossover. at first it's not very easy but when you get the system it gets really simple.

 and when all the nuts are braided, keep braiding the band until the bottom, then make a knot and that's it!

 this is how it looks! nuts may be kind of big, but that's ok, they look really good! 

second one: studded friendship bracelet

i just found an old friendship bracelet and i wanted to renew it! and studs always work great for things like these.

 i used three studs and a friendship bracelet

 put the studs at the place where you want to stick them in

 use scissors or whatever you want to bend the prongs. don't hurt yourself, be careful!

diy crystal ring

my diy things are always super easy and simple! today i did a crystal ring. i've been thinking about the ring like this for some time but i hadn't that crystal. and yesterday mom found it - a quartz crystal that my dad brought from ural mountains. we have more rocks and stones from ural but i don't know where they are. i hope that one day i'll find them all!
and here's something that i did today:

 the things you will need: quartz crystal, white moment glue, old ring

 just put some glue on the ring, push the crystal on that ring and press for a minute or two

  wait until the crystal stands still on the ring

 take some photos! yay!

 and yes, you have a perfect crystal ring! i'm so happy!

diy studded shoulders

today i did something on my new sweater! i studded its shoulders and now it looks a lot better. you will need: studs, scissors to bend the prongs, pencil to mark where a stud should go and a sweater:

and this is how it works, the studding project is done!

if you want to stud your clothes, you must do it! this takes only about 15mins and if you not happy about the result after all, you can easily take the studs out. so i suggest doing this because studs can revive your old piece of clothing or just refine the new one :)
